Install

1. Right-click the signed installer, open Properties, and confirm the Digital Signatures tab identifies Ronald Telford.
2. Run setup and accept the EULA after reading it.
3. Choose the application folder and a separate encrypted data folder.
4. Choose whether the installation applies to all Windows users on the computer.
5. Finish setup and open WorkplaceFindings Professional.

Activate the perpetual licence

1. Enter the WFP1-... serial number and purchaser email from the automatic purchase message.
2. Select Activate online while connected to the internet.
3. Confirm that WorkplaceFindings shows the licensed customer and perpetual licence.
4. Keep the purchase receipt and serial number in a protected business record. Routine use can be offline after activation.

If online activation is unavailable, save a .wfprequest and send it to support. Import the returned .wfplicense. Neither activation path sends case records, evidence, application usernames, account passwords, reports, or encryption keys.

Create the first secured account

1. Select Create account.
2. Choose a unique username and strong password.
3. Store the password in an approved password manager. The publisher cannot recover it.
4. Sign in and choose Guided mode if this is your first investigation.

Add other users

Each authorized user creates a separate secured application account. Accounts have independently encrypted case collections and cannot browse another account's files. A Windows administrator remains outside the application's security boundary.
